Made exclusively for dZi by the Tibetan community of Lingtsang in northern India, these beautiful Tibetan bells and chimes are individually sand-cast in bronze and hand-tuned to ensure clarity of sound and tone. Many of the bell styles originate in the high Himalayas, where they traditionally ring from the necks of yaks and tough mountain ponies. Door, tingsha and wind chimes have been strung with heavy-duty leather or cotton satin cord and are best kept out of the rain. This bell has been named by it's producers the Red Dragon Door Chime after the traditional Tibetan etchings of dragons engraved on the base of the bell. Its melodic sound is perfect to signal the beginning of mediation, dinner, or the visitation of a very special guest. Bell is adorned with maroon satin cord and knotted tassel. Both looks and sounds beautiful.
